Portrait of Helen Korley

Member Advisory Board

Helen Korley is a commercially astute marketing and strategy leader with over 13 years of experience driving growth, consumer engagement, and market expansion across global FMCG organisations, including Unilever (Ghana and the Philippines), Beiersdorf, and Danone.

Biography

At Beiersdorf, she served as Regional Shopper Activations Manager for Central & West Africa; at Danone, she led marketing for Ghana. Across these roles, Helen has built a reputation for turning consumer insight into commercial strategy, blending deep shopper-behavior expertise with creativity, digital innovation, and cross-functional leadership to strengthen brand equity, accelerate revenue growth, and elevate customer experience across diverse markets.

Her strategic lens is shaped by robust academic grounding: an Executive MBA from Lancaster University Management School and an MSc in Managing AI in Business from the University of Salford, positioning her at the intersection of business leadership, innovation, and emerging technology. In recent years, Helen has expanded her portfolio into AI capability building, working as an AI Trainer.

Helen brings to the AGIA Advisory Board a rare blend of commercial clarity, strategic foresight, ethical leadership, and global perspective. Her experience across Africa and Asia, combined with her expertise in consumer behavior and emerging technology, makes her a valuable voice as AGIA builds a globally minded, innovation-driven institution for young Africans.
